Well I stepped outside and my wifes cat decided to sink his teeth into the butt cap section of my cue. Its my old Joss cue. I was already thinking about getting it refinished but now I believe the whole butt section would have to be replaced. How much would something like this cost to repair with a new butt sleeve.

Im keeping the cue but the teeth holes bother me now.

Impossible to say without seeing the damage, and what exactly would need replacing.
It may be possible to strip the finish, and swell out the bite marks. Again, hard to say without seeing it.

If a REPAIR MAN strips the finish & cleans up those teeth marks, I think that the cue could be restored to like new condition...JER

With the risk of offending cat lovers.
Give the cat a gift certificate to Curb Life Magazine.

I got this one boys. KILL THE CAT...JER

That was sort of in line with my original thoughts too, but then I thought it might be wise to ask "What kind of cat?" Pussy cat? Tom cat? Bobcat? Puma? Tiger? People do keep them. :)

But from the pictures of the teeth marks I'm going to guess that the repair is not too difficult.

Hope it goes well.
