Thanks for all the responses guys....I was just wanting to try and get some kind of idea on how much they would be worth..I think I will hold on to all the cues and ivory billiard balls. Thank you for the offers though...Now....just to let everyone know.. I have $7.50 for the 2 Meucci cues I have posted. I gave $17.00 for the sneaky petes and Heubler cue.

You did real good. That was one hell of an investment. Maybe the cops won't knock your doors in for stealing them like that. Congrats on the find.

Joe

Yes BAMA, I did get lucky....although, on 1 sneaky the ferrule looks like it has had 36grit paper rubbed on it...its bad...I will have to have someone replace it.. And on the other sneaky...the ferrule is cracked...so I have to get it replaced as well.. Other than some very, very minor dings, all the cues look great....roll straight together and apart. Oh....forgot to post pics of this one that I got also from a kid that needed money....a Meucci as well..I would be willing to trade the Meucci Originals, the Meucci E-1, and the Meucci SS-10 for something in the price range of 650.00. If anyone has anything in the 650.00 price range you would be willing to trade..I am open to all trades...I would like a Josey, Schon, Scruggs, Olivier, Olney, Bluegrass, ..I would even be willing to trade the 3 Meucci cues, plus my Coker for a cue in the 1200.00 price range....all cues have cases...all cues hit very well...

Meucci E-1 has 1 shaft

Meucci Originals has 1 red dot shaft

Meucci SS-10 has 2 shafts

Coker has 2 shafts

Thanks Golfparent...the person that had the garage sale was obviously a pool player....i bought these 2 cues, a McDermott sneaky pete, a Meucci Sneaky pete, 3 ivory billiards balls, and a really old Heubler...I bought everything pool related that the couple was selling except the Valley bar table and the Olhausen 9'table...it still has not sunk in on how much i gave for everything though

WOW! Where on earth did you find that garage sale? Wagoner? Coweta? BA? Do you know if they still have the Valley table and was it in pretty good condition?

Crown Cues is in BA. Gene would probably fix that ferrule for you and maybe even fix you up with a nice cue.

Just a thought.

Never mind. Found 'em.

I'm sure Gene would fix that ferrule up, though.

I found that particular garage sale in Muskogee.. I dotn know if they still have the bar table or not...I could stop by their house on my way home from work today if you would like..just let me know...

Crown Cues....Absolutely nothing against Gene...(FOR ME) I just dont like the looks of his cues...I am sure they hit great...just for my taste, they are not for me. I have seen some of his cues that are pretty, just not what I woudl want though..nothing against his cues. I do know someone who has one and they absolutely love it..so I am in NO WAY bashing Crown Cues..everyone has different taste... They do have some great prices on his custom cues though...Its like some people like baseball, and some dont...same thing...but different...lol

Im gonna go play in the 4-10 rated 9 ball tourney at Magoos Oct 4th...are u gonna play there?

Nah... I found a whole bunch on Craig's list, after I wrote that message on here. Thanks for the offer, though. Mostly, I was after the one our friends have. I doubt they'd sell it, but ya never know. Since they might be moving soon, I should check it out, huh?

Everyone has a preference. If everyone liked the same kind of cues, the pool halls would be boring! :boring2:

To my knowledge, there are very few Crown Cues in Oklahoma, since the business was built online, instead of locally, due to family health issues that Gene had to work around. The cues that are in Oklahoma are all family cues or custom ordered cues, except one or two (I think). I could be blowing a lot of smoke out my ears, too. I should look in the mirror, huh?

Congrats on a good buy, though. Sounds like you got some pretty nice stuff.

Yea.to my knowledge, I have yet to see one of Genes cues here in Oklahoma..Now, when I was in Anchorage I did see someone with one of his cues..

And yea..craigslist is a good place to look for stuff that I have found out..good thing about it, it doesnt cost anything to sell your items on craigslist......I have only had good transactions on craigslist....although, all the stuff I have sold on Ebay has been good as well..I have bought alot off ebay...my feedback selling and buying on Ebay is 100%

Can't find it now, but I believe you had asked about a tournament or something on this Saturday or the next one. There is an important birthday party around that time, so I won't be able to go. We have birthdays 2 weekends in a row. One is a first and one is a 50th. Neither one can be missed.

I wasn't meaning to ignore your question. The car broke down, the grandkids were here around the clock.... Need I say more? I think I finally slowed down enough to see my tail, last night. :yikes:
