hey all. hope someone can shed some light:D
obviusly it is a meucci but what year??? i took it to the local billiards place/repair place and the owner says early 80s he said the cue is in excellent shape,he put both peices on lathe and they are straight as an arrow and when put together just as straight he proceeded to ask me if i wanted to sell it but i said no, he just laughed and said good cause that it is really a nice cue,my thinking was WHY would he want to buy it? he has hundreds of other BETTER LOOKING cues, there is nothing fancy about it WELL here are pics: SORRY ABOUT CRAPPY PIC need to learn how to post better pic

ST-5 also known as a "high run" series. Nice cue, my estimate would be 86' or so. The guy tried to buy it because they are desirable to a lot of people. Meucci doesnt make them like that anymore. Heres the catalog scan from Budgetcues.com

It's a nice cue in nice condition from an era when Meucci made cues that are legendary.

Why would he not want to buy it?
