Help me decide what to do with $5000

In addition you will have to pay the usual Federal and State income taxes (not local taxes) along with a 10% pentality fee for early withdrawal, unless you are over 59 1/2 years old.
Your net could be as low as $2400 - $2500.

if you take an early withdrawal from your 401k your basically saying i want to buy something that will instantly be worth like 40-50% less after taxes and penalties. Why make any move that will make $5k turn into 3k?

If you dont have the $5k free cash in the bank you should be buying a cue with the money you do have free and clear.

Car should never be more than 10% of the value of your home.

Home should not be more than 10% of your investment portfolio after deducting your home mortgage and other debt.

If you pass these two tests you can afford both.:D :D :D
 
Loan

The $5000 would be a loan out of my 401k that I would pay myself back with interest,and it would only amount to about $25 a week coming out of my check for 5 years.I would not have to pay any tax this way.

Just take that 5,000 to Vegas and parlay it into 50,000 so then you can pay back the loan AND still afford a bomb ass cue and some nice boobs

Yep, may need to be convinced they would still feel right!

Get the loan and isolate some of your 401k from difficult market conditions. If half of mine wasn't tied up in loans I would have lost MORE than that amount over the past year when our stock tanked. Fortunately you must already know this isn't the place to go looking for financial planning advice!

Boobs and cues though, well this is the place!

Besides, if you spent most of that money on a cue and then some hick from N.C. came in with a Philippi SP (jk Chewtabacco) came in and busted you. That might be enough to push you over the edge.

The decision is of course yours, but I went through that high $$ phase once and found out about the Indian and the arrow. I guess now I have learned to relax and not have that high of 'expectations' and the pressure to have to be spot on is gone and I have picked up quite a bit of speed.

This guy is right. SAVE your money. The economy is tanking & the leaders of this country are watching it sink. They don't care, they have plenty.

Thousands of people buy high dollar cues & guess what, they sell em when the reality sets in. Like the poster said, it's a questionable investment.

As far as modifying your wife goes, she ought to take the 5,000 & get a divorce.

This is true but you are losing out on that compound interest over those 5 years. Totally up to you man but I wouldn't touch it if I were you.

. . . at least you know the 'other' hard leg might just pass-up on her until the set is complete. Voila! your investment is secure for the time being and you get to play with both. On second thought, man, you only live once. Pull out another 5Gs from the cash sack and do 'em both. BTW, if you're gonna spend that much, you best play with both of them. Hell, what good are they if you're just gonna stare and drool at them. I couldn't imagine you just starin' at those tuned up tatas once they're done. Same logic for the cue. :grin:

Good idea. Doesn't hurt to go for a spin in a car dealership before deciding to buy one so you get the 'feel'. Personally, I never liked fake boobs cause I've seen, touched, been slapped with one too many. There's no shortage from my neck of the woods. They feel totally unnatural, like a flesh and fat bag stuffed with mung beans :p . Reminds me of a time once when I was waiting my turn for a hair cut in one of them salons. Seated next to me was another dude waiting for his lady to get done. He told me they've been back 3 times that week cause she wanted more done and undone. The tab so far was $875. Guess who's payin'? When she was done and I saw her, man, she looked like she earned enough miles from the plastic surgeon to get a couple of free flights. Every imaginable medical intervention was done. Suddenly, BAMMMM! :eek: , in walks another chick wearing work-out cotton sweats with no undies (yes, I have x-ray vision :D ), no make-up, phony tailed hair and all organic and stands right next to Ms. Artificiality asking to buy a bottle of bodywash. This hot chick glowed like neon light in a desert night. As far as I'm concerned, nothing beats the work of the BOSS above when it comes to true, natural unadulterated beauty. Just doesn't compare. The difference is always palpable.

On a serious note though, I'm in the same boat as the other posters here who advise against pulling the money out. It just aint worth it because of the financial repercussions and health risks in your choices. If you're really itching to spend the money (which I hope you're not), buy the family a nice vacation package where all could have a wonderful time.

I prefer natural, but fake are nice as well and hey; the skin is real..
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't fake breastesses have a short lifespan and you have to replace them every 10 years or so?

So it's not going to cost $5k, it's going to cost:

($5k) * (However many years you're going to continue to care about breastesses) / (10) = Bad freakin idea...
 
Hmmm....5,000 bucks... I think i woulkd take my kid to disneyworld or something like that. He would love you more than some old cue....imo=)
