I am calling all helping hands to find school programs that teach pool. My cue company is giving them cues. I sell a cue they get a cue, and I take no money for this at all! Help me locate schools that teach pool???

Why don't you give it to pool rooms, along with a written proposal on purposes the cue should be used for?

Also included should be access to a website with resources for people learning pool, not a forum something with instructional info.

This way they get your free pool cue, access to your cue company and a place to visit for info. You can then sponsor rooms with your equipment.

I know that a few years ago that once a week the high school near the pool room would bring a group of students to the pool room. It might have been a phys ed class.

Contact Laura Smith at the Billiard Education Foundation.

You might want to call Laura: 303.926.1039, she doesn't always respond to email in a timely manner. But she's the one I would direct you to, also.

Also, not related directly w/schools, but Melissa little has a juniors program she holds on a regular basis @ Wynkoop. I would contact her as well: www.melissalittle.com - here's her juniors page: http://www.melissalittle.com/melissa_little/Vipers_Juniors_Program.html.

You can contact Chris Niksch at the Georgia Billiard Academy to see if he would be interested.

Thanks everyone. I know many of the people , and I will be helping all of them as much as possible.

Keep them coming!

I spoke with the Chris a few weeks back. Johnny Archer and Shawn Putnam are helping out there as well! I am proud to call myself a pool player if that is how pool players act.

We need 100% involvement from pool to do it right.

If we all do what is right here we can't lose!
