Help Needed To ID/Value A Cue

Hello all;

I am doing spring cleaning (he said, optimistically, as a foot and a half of snow will be arriving here tonight) and will be selling a number of cues, cases, and other pool related items.

I came across the Brunswick cue pictured below and other than it definitely looking like it's from the late 60's to mid 70's, I don't know much else about it.

I must say, I think it's kinda cool looking, in a gawdy way.

Does anyone know what model it is, and what possible value it may have, refinished, or left as is.

I'm between sending it out for a rewrap and refinish, however, that may be more than the cue is worth.

Worth mentioning is that the shaft has a slight wobble, nothing major, but it's there.

Any comments and/or recommendations are appreciated.

From the joint I am thinking Chinese Brunswick?

This cue was actually weilded in the early 1700 by Noble Horsemen. The joint is gold and rings are silver. Most interesting the pearly stone is actually whale sperm frozen to perfection. It's a keeper. I would say it's worth two in the bush.

I'm guessing no, but it's just that, a guess.

I know this cue isn't worth a whole lotta money but I do find the busy retro look of it to be appealing.

Anybody interested in it?

Once I can get a little info on it, I will likely put it up for sale in the Wanted/For Sale forum.

I get asked about these all the time. It's a line of import cues made in the mid to late 1970's by the same Taiwan factory that made Imperial, the Rich Q imports, etc. and branded Brunswick They had a retro look (copied Adam) and exhibited pretty bad workmanship. The ones I've seen look like the diamonds were inlaid by hand. I don't know who ran the factory.

Not worth too much I'm afraid, so just sell it for what you can get.
