Help needed...

I have a player on one of my teams that is in need of a shaft for her Cuetec. The shaft that is supposed to be warp resistant wasn't... Anyway I need to find her a decent replacement shaft or another low budget cue as she is a new mommy and has a limited budget. Please pm me whatever you have to help. Thanks in advance...

i may have an entire cue tec or imperial(which was made by them)whin i get home i will check it and see
if it is you can have it

I'LL LOOK AT MY POOLROOM THIS AFTERNOON. I THINK I HAVE SOME CUETEC STUFF LAYING AROUND.

WHAT COLOR IS HER CUE THAT NEEDS THE SHAFT?
 
did you try contacting cuetec and seeing about getting it replaced under soem sort of warrenty? if they advertise it as warp resistance, and it warped, then they should replace it free of charge.

I am also not happy with the guy that asked how much she is willing to spend.

It was stated that she is a new mom and has limited income. We should be looking to help her out for no money.

me three. ONETHEBREAK is known and respected. But even if he can find something for her here, call cuetec and get her another shaft.

I will be a new father in a little over 2 months.
It just struck a cord in me when I saw the post about how much she is willing to spend.

If I had a Cuetec, it would already be on the way to her.
 
Parents and Pool

I have a 6 month old and I am a part time single dad. I used to shoot pool for hours daily. Now I am lucky to shoot one night a week. Not only is money tight, but so is time. I work 40hrs a week and may have a night or two to myself. I have my son for the majority of the week and all weekends. Being a dad is a hell of a lot cooler that pool, and I love me some pool. If all else fails in the search for a cuetec, I may be able to round something up somewhere and send a cue to her. Just let me know.
 
I have a cuetec thunderbolt shaft, almost new, that I took to a local shop for a new tip (my first try at a tip shaver ruined the tip). The shaft came back with a number of tiny scratches that do not effect the play but, I did not like the feel and got a new shaft. The one with scratches would be free.

I apologize for such an inappropriate question...I just saw that she could buy a new cue altogether, I have a few friends here who might have low-end cues (below 100usd) that they want to sell. I know that she may not be willing to spend on a high end cue but if she decides on it, I am willing to help her look for something.

I was really only trying to help her out...the question I asked came out not really of much help if read as is, I should have been clear.

Count me in if we need to start a kitty $$ to purchase a shaft. No Cuetec here, but a soft spot for new pool-playin' mommies .... :) - John

Wow

I didn't expect so many responses... She has a white Cuetec with some black trim designs on it that went with her to Vegas a few years back so she is really partial to it. We figured Cuetec would give us the run around on replacing the shaft under warranty as it is a few years old and I don't think we could come up with a receipt. We have just got her back into shooting league after having her first child about six months ago. I appreciate everybody's generosity and it really makes me feel good about the people in this community. Let's see if we can find her a shaft for her cue first and if not then maybe a cue squirrel. Thanks to everybody willing to help.
