Help with cue ID

Any help appreciated. JHF on the butt?

The rings line up nicely, and the inlay looks clean. The finish looks old, but regardles, my opinion is the letters are the owner, and not the maker. Whomever made the cue had some skills, and probably would've put a bit more effort had he signed it, rather than crudely scratching it in the butt.

Would love to see the rest of the cue.
 
I don't think the finish looks old...I think it looks like an amateur re-finish.

I agree, it looks like the owner scratched their initials in the butt cap.

here is another cue on ebay with the same logo.. there is a discussion on another sub forum that the cue i am linking is a heubler cue with a custom buttcap done by somebody else.. which i do not know for sure, but the joint on this ebay cue and the shafts look like heubler but the buttcap is differnt..

although it has the same signaturew on it as the one posted in thsi photo..

It has a radial pin. Not sure if Horn ever used one. But the points are Horn-like. Too much to do to the cue to fool with. Hope it works out for whoever gets it.
