There was a second cue among the set given to me when I bought a pool table recently. It has not indication of the maker, but has a great feel to it and quite frankly it may be my favorite cue. Based on the brass joint, I think it is 1960s/1970s but I'm no expert. The wood is beautiful (the pictures do not do justice at all) and the feel in the hand is excellent. So I am looking for help on two fronts.
First, any idea on who the maker is? I would love to know more about it as I don't think it is a mass market cue.
Second, the shaft has a warp to it. Still playable but not ideal. For a cue with a joint like this, is there a way to find a new shaft? If so, how would I describe the joint to find one?
Pictures attached. And thank you for any help you can provide.
