Help With Paypal

I am in the process of purchasing a cue from a fellow forum member, and its going to be done by paypal. The problem is that I had $0 in my paypal account, so yesterday I transferred the necessary funds to my paypal account from my bank account, expecting it to be available right away so I can pay the person...but it says that its processing and takes a few days. I sold my cue to pay for this other cue, and I sure don't want to wait a few days without a cue, and probably the seller doesnt want to wait a few days either. Is there a way I can have something like paypal credit, where I can make a purchase instantly and give the money to paypal when the transfer from my bank account is done?

When I don't have the funds in my PayPal account...I go ahead and send the payment and PayPal does a instant transfer from my bank account and the seller is paid instantly. Try that and see if it works for you.

If you transfer funds from your bank account to Paypal it takes 4-5 days. But if you just pay for it and follow the steps provided Paypal will do an instant transfer.

You can also use a credit card through Paypal for instant payments, just have to get it setup.

I never move funds to paypal. As mentioned in prior post - I have paypal withdraw directly from my bank account. It may take some time to get this set up, as I think paypal has to verify account and your address - but is a very easy way to handle transactions.

what i do to get the money in paypal faster if i want to pay with cash instead of my credit card.. i added my debit check card as a credit card.. so it withdraws the cash straight out of my checking account and they get there money instantly.. no echecks or waiting for the funds to be added..

you may want to go that route..

I tried doing that but it says the transaction failed because it didn't recognize the credit card??? I've made a payment with paypal before and I didn't have a problem like this. And if I am buying a cue off someone not on ebay, what type of sale do I have to list it as?

send money

Just hit the 'send money' .....

Be sure to have the correct name or e mail to send it to.

My Paypal account was verified by my home address and linking the account to my checking account and I set up a backup funding source of a credit card. There is no reason to transfer money to Paypal because I normally don't have a balance in my Paypal account and any purchase I make using Paypal is either a direct transfer from my checking account or I can specify to use my credit card if I prefer. If your Paypal account is verified then it must be linked to your checking account so there's no reason to transfer money to Paypal which I think takes about 3 days to post in your account balance.
