Very nice, I believe sixties without looking up the decal. Don't remember the exact years but if somebody else does not look it up I will. I'm just in a hurry....dinner is on the table!

Very nice example.

Pretty sure it's a 50's cue.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. Someone always has my answers. Is it possible that Rambo could have made it. Just Dreaming in Southern Indiana/

Yup, fifties.

The curly B in Brunswick is a big clue in addition to the bigger signature.

I gotta go east dinner! :D

How did the ferule get that shape? I have never seen that before and I've been looking at cues longer then most of you have been alive:crying:

My guess is wallowing the chalk around the tip. We have a group of retired gentlemen that meet every afternoon and play $2 snooker at my room. Al, a 5'2" 92 year young player hasnt shot an offensive shot in a decade. Instead he plays "safe"every turn and spends the rest of the time chalking his stick...for 4 hours a day. His ferrule looks identical with more chalk staining lol.

Lassiter had a Rambow with the 'bell' ferrule. I think Herman came up with the idea. However, I don't think this one is anymore than poor maintenance/chalking.
On second look it appears to have been done on purpose.
The idea was that you could have a smaller shaft diameter and still have a 13mm. tip.
In this case, it doesn't appear to be.
