Helping AZB and Chaz Dillon

Wow. When I lived in Orlando I wanted to jump at the chance of checking out some local work from a local casemaker. I was confused when my interest was met with avoidance. I see now that it was a blessing.

Sorry to hear you guys are having to go through this. FWIW, I would like to say that all of this is probably not intentional on Chaz's part. $hit happens... people get in over their heads... people go through hard times. We all understand that. I've been there (more than once).

However... you cannot forget these 3 rules

1) Your character is revealed in how you deal with those situations.

2) The faith others have in you will be built or destroyed with how you tend to their needs and concerns ... DESPITE what you are going through.

3) Your word will be judged on whether or not you have fulfilled the promises you have made to others.

rbpwrd240, I know you are doing your best to help in this situation... but you will learn the same lesson I learned with the Eddie Wheat situation, which was... you can't MAKE someone else get their $hit together - no matter how bad you want it for them. There comes a time when you just have to get out of the way - and then walk away - and let the incoming grenades fly into his shop.
 
David...tap, tap, tap. Those are definitely words to live by. I would add one more: 4) You only get one chance to make a "first impression"...don't blow it! :D

Looking for updates as well. Chaz toldme he was out of town, then I called this weekend with no response. I will post any updates.

I know im stickin my neck out but I hope it turns into something.

Well I talked to Chaz and I was told that Franks case was in the mail and that chaz had issued two refunds. If you guys could confirm this so I can adjust the list. Also I was told MTD's case and Deanoc's case were next to go out soon.

Let me know what happens.

Well I got the same text from him as well. He said that charles would call me on wednesday with the tracking number. I havent heard from he or chaz since. As of today im still trying to figure out whats what. Since he is talking to you, maybe you can ask him for my tracking number, or at least to what address it was shipped. Thanks

legal action

I will be taking legal action against Chaz if i do not get a refund by friday. If anyone else has sent him money and not recieved a case and would like to know your legal options or file with me, contact me via email at hanshewcustomcues.com as I think there will probably be a lot and i dont want to fill up my az inbox. have allready talked to the Seminole county sherrifs dept and the Florida district attourny's office and there are several options, criminal and civil. i will post the full story friday, but for now i will say that i have been over a year dealing with him and i am done.

I still have NOT gotten my case from Chaz and in search for all the info on Chaz. I am also in search of all contact numbers of local police and any other numbers that will help me press charges. I have sent quite a few emails and need to get as much info as possible. My payment was sent out on 2/25/10 and my case was suppose to be done by 5/1/10 and we all know how this story ends. Thanks.

I finaly got a refund from Chaz, he sent it after he realized I was not bluffing about taking legal action. I have a cashiers check and cant wait to take it to the saddle shop and have them start working on a case. i am so frustated with the whole thing that i dont think my blood pressure can handle a detailed story so i will just say that finaly a year after having $565.00 he had not started on my case. i was more than fair and then he refused to talk to me and had some guy named charles call me ( anyone here had the pleasure of speaking with charles? )and then it still took two months to get a refund after i had given him a one month deadline. i am just happy i got my refund and to be done with it. for all others though i spent a whole day finding out what legal actions could be taken and exactly how and where to do it and who and what numbers to call. I will post this information for everyone else and i hope that all involved get there issues resolved whether it be a case they are happy with or a refund. I would also like to clarify that my deal was with Chaz, before Erick ever came along and that Erick had nothing to do with my dealings with Chaz. will have info posted by friday

I completely forgot about this shitsack. Been waiting since 4-9-09. I would love to get my money back. I would have been much better off donating my dollars at the local pool hall to the bar maids and KK9L.

My theory is that drugs or alcohol will always take precedent over a cue case or refund!!!!

Or perhaps some condition like "ground hog day" type of amnesia!

Wow....this guy is a piece of work. Seems to be a master staller and scammer. Never speaks to anyone directly, always has someone else do the dirty work of stringing everyone along by saying it's shipping out tomorrow.

Why would anyone want to associate their name with him? This guy has 5-600 bucks of a bunch of people's money and won't talk to them, email them or text them.

You guys must really love cases and must have some bucks laying around, to be able to send it to these cuemakers or casemakers. Seems to be a common practice, judging by all the threads in these forums, of these guys taking everyone's money and never sending product.

Good luck to all of you, but I hope these experiences will make you more careful in the future.

I feel for all of you:(
