Here is an interesting cue I just saw on eBay all I can say is WOW!!!

Very interesting cue. I have been watching it since it was listed. It's an amazing piece.

I really don't know enough about such cues, but I suppose a lot of people that enjoy cues really don't know such examples. That thing would qualify as a museum display I think.

The splices alone are amazing, especially when considering the primitive tools available at the time. The inlay work etc would have been exhausting to say the least.

If I were a wealthy man I would own it, even if only to preserve it for posterity. Such historic pieces, true antiques, are merely in the guardianship of their owners IMHO, they are truly only held in preservation for those who come after us to admire.

Might make a nice conversion cue, even though it's an import.



That would be a crime against wood, to convert that cue. This is one of those items that should be preserved in a Museaum.
