Here is The Man Cave!

Originally the idea was to build a partition wall dividing my 25 x 40 metal shop into two parts, so I could climate control one side. That $300 wall has turned into a $3000 remodel. After I got the wall up, I decided I might as well stud up the other walls for insulative purposes. That led to drywall, drop ceiling, and now much needed flooring.

The 7ft Diamond is my dad's. As soon as we finish his man cave, the Diamond goes to his place. Then I will put the carpet down and set up my 9ft Gold Crown IV.

My home pool room is done, but I can't help but still be insanely jealous of some of the ones I see here. You guys are so lucky.
 
Finally got the table set up!

Jack came over yesterday and set up my table, and its freakin sweet! If you ever have a chance to have Jack Zimmerman set up your table, you owe it to yourself to do it! His attention to detail is amazing. His apprentice did a great job too, thanks Todd! It was like a dream come true yesterday watching my table come to life. Id also like to thanks BNall on here for finding my table and telling me about Jack a couple years ago. If you are ever in Kokomo and wanna hit some balls on a "DIAMONDIZED" Gold Crown 2, shoot me a pm and Ill tell ya how to get to the cave :thumbup:

His attention to detail fell short of noticing the "diamond" missing to the left of the score counter. :grin-square: Just kidding, he probably didn't have any on him when he was out there. I had one missing on my table too but fortunately my mechanic happened to have some spares with him at the time.

Nice looking table, enjoy. :thumbup: BTW, the light is also sweet. Did you build it?

Thanks for the kinds words bud. He noticed the marker was missing, but it was too late to order one. I can get one later, so its no biggie. That light works even better than I expected, and yes, I did build it. Its a little bit overkill, but there are no shadows on my table at all. Its amazing how well you can see the balls at the other end of the table!

Let me tell you thats one sweet playing table you have there Joe!! My son and I stayed there and played on that table till 3:30 am this morning, but it was all worth it! I can see myself making a monthly trip to play on this baby. Congrats Joe!!

I'd like to thank Joe & son for being such a hospitable host to myself and my helper, Todd. He treated us to pizza and cold beer along with breaking the seal on a 20 year old bottle of Crown Royal to celebrate the grand opening of the man cave! He has a great setup and I look forward to hitting some balls on that sweet GCII again someday! Congrats Joe, it's obvious you put a lot of hard work into converting an old garage into a place that you can be proud of.

I've worked on my garage for hours and hours and still will never be satisfied until every square inch is covered in some kind of beer signage. The only thing is that I have a severe moth problem during the summer lol

It was great to have you over at my cave man. Its largely because of you that it all came together. I can't thank you enough for finding my table and recommending Jack. I played until 4:30am last night, lol. We will have to get you into some one pocket pretty soon man, hehehe.

It was great having you over too man. I just wish we lived a little closer, then maybe we could play some one pocket. That crown royal was pretty damn good! Next time, you will have to try the crystal head, if there's any left that is, lol. You and Todd did one helluva job man. Im still amazed at how good it looks, and how great it plays. I catch myself standing there lookin at my table and smiling like a big dumb idiot, which isn't really too far off from normal, lol. Im looking forward to seeing you fellas again in the near future.
