My friend is selling this nice Rich Benson cue ending tomorrow.Right now the bid is only $162. I would think this cue would go for at least $400 - $500.

i have seen this cue listed and relisted on ebay 3 times this month.first time it went cheap and then it was back with a higher price.something is up
 
Looks odd with that short joint...like it's been broken and redone perhaps?

No, that is his standard joint collar. I ordered a cue from him in the late 80's and that's how he made his cues. I wish I had the cue back because it did play really well.

I see Duc has the bid now at just over $300 but that is still a steal.

No, it's fine. E-Bay cancelled his first two auctions because of the title. I guess they are really trying to enforce their rules. The first one was something like "Benson cue, not Schon or Joss". They cancelled it, then he put "Benson cue, like Schon or Joss" and they cancelled that one too.

It's a good cue - the seller just didn't know the rules.

Shorty - I guess Benson's joint is a "shorty".

Hehhehehe I know...like the pot calling the kettle black.

Nice cue by the way...would love to hit a short jointed cue someday and see if their is a difference. For now I will stick with my Schon ;)
