Bj's against the Hibs lol where was the jambo's?

I am from Dundee, live in the states now. Miss playing pool in the working mens club, preferred snooker but just got into pool a little before I moved out.

PS- votes YES

it is a problem in both, much more so in northern Ireland hence the IRA and the bombings etc

in Scotland it is not really violent the biggest bigotry we see is between celtic and rangers are 2 biggest football teams. Celtic are irish gaelic in ancestry so there catholic and rangers are connected to the crown hence they have lots of union jacks at there games they are protestant.

i watched this, and not once did i see a beer, Bushmills, nor hear a chant.
i'm a little disappointed....

I to have a question, how do you tell which are stripes and which are solids? They look like they are all red or yellow.

I'm familiar with Celtic and Rangers but I thought Rangers brought in some Catholic players and for some reason were relegated to a lower division.

Is it better than it used to be or still just as bad?

that is not why they were relegated it was because they went into administration bankrupt basically, too many years of over spending

it has happened in the past where catholic players or protestants have played fr the other club jinky johnson was the first i believe he played for both teams.

Neil lennon from n ireland was celtic manager and got bullets sent to his door. most of that stuff is isolated it is nowhere near as bad as used to be

I don't think of this as pool....different rules on a small snooker table.
Even the balk line is where it would be at snooker.
....and the cue-ball feels like a golf ball.

But the game has its own specific skills and the best player wins.
....but I'd rather watch it than play it.

People have more fun than anybody.
:)

Played the course at St, Andrews back many years ago. Stayed At The St Andrews Hotel across the street...In the lower floors were two 6 X 12 Snooker Tables...I made a wing shot on the first try from across the full length of the table--the object ball was really moving too---I didn't make another ball for sometime after that though--LOL--
I had never seen a snooker table that big in my whole life--and I had been around:thumbup:
