This is a pretty collection. The rainbow cues on either end of the display are Richard Blacks. Enjoy:
yes that johnny gonzales has some awesome cues....he is also a very nice guy....wish he had brought more of his stuff....that is just a fraction of what he has....
I always feel the same way, I want to see more. I want to go to Will's house and dig through his stuff. I want to see Denny Glenn's stuff. I was at Rick Goulden's awesome display and in the back I could see a case marked "Spain Cues". I asked him what was in there and just went WOW when he opened.
Its all such great stuff, historical and modern both.

The Rick Goulden Collection
The last collection I have any decent pics of is the Rick Goulden Collection. The last 3 cues in the rack are all (I believe) Balabushkas, including the Joe Balsis Balabushka and the Balabushka owned by Phil Spector (a gift from Balsis). I think the Spector cue was in the house the night Phil was arrested for murder.
Then a pair of huge Ivory Ginacues from the 60s, including a ivory handle monster Gina. That's Rick's son listening to Ernie:
Then a pair of Frank Paradise Diamond Kings. Pretty cool cues in their own right. Add to that that one is a gift to Dean Martin and the other to Little Dino and they become very cool cues. Add to that the fact that they were gifted by Frank Sinatra and they are VERY VERY VERY COOL cues

Then comes 4 Window cues. The 2 on the left (top) are Palmers, one is Joe Balsis's and the other Willie Mosconi. The 2 on the right (bottom) are ultra rare Tad Window cues. Please note that 60s style use of pearlized plastic rings.
Next is a Balabushka, Gus, Gus, Gus, Gus stack. For those of you that think something like this is noteworthy, that's an ivory jointed Gus Gambler Cue there, when you gonna see another?
Lastly I was leaving the booth as Rick was gracious enough to put up with me and I noticed a cue case. I asked what was in it and he answered some Spains, would you like to see?

Yeah I couldn't pass up Vegas
For me, the show was a better experience than I had expected, which is a rare occurrence in today's day and age of over-promised disappointments. I would consider traveling to NO next year. I've never been there.

Thank you Kevin for sharing your pictures. Of all posts from present and past cue shows, your pictures are the best. I especially liked the way you posted a few pictures a day and not all at once.

I had planned on packing my purple background but my wife stopped me claiming if I lost it, we'd be out of business.
There were great TADs at this show. The window cues are the bomb.

As I said earlier, it was a genuine pleasure to finally meet you at the ICCS show. It is always great fun to have a face to "go" with the voice and all the deals we have done together. You are a real friend, and I enjoyed our time together at the show.
I also want to thank you (profusely) for all the pictures you took at the ICCS, and for posting an excellent representation of them on AZ. Your pictures are wonderful, and do provide a nice insight to the cues at the show.
If, at any time, you find yourself in the midwest, I would be honored to have you stay with us at our home. We could have fun "diving" into the cues, but also some other collectibles I have at the house, and I will make sure you get your fill of superb Kansas City barbeque!

Wow if it is in NOLA then I will have to go for sure. Could not schedule to get out there to Vegas this year.
I mentioned in another thread that absolutely no decisions have been made about next Year's ICCS venue.....not even a list of Possible sites. At the Collector meeting I asked for an email from each attendee
within 30-45 days on a variety of topics, including their thoughts for location next year.
No decision will be made until early next year. We do move the show around each year, so it is a sure bet not to be in Las Vegas next year. Everything else is pure rumor.
I will post on AZ when the Announcements are made.
