Heyball big money tourney

Any specs?

standard corner pocket size on snooker tables ranges from 3 3/8 inches to 3 5/8 inches.

zhuang niu was surely a bit of a surprise winner? commentators didn't know him. he played damn good when i watched, probably ran out 60-70%. i watched a bit of the final and the young opponent, taiyi something, is probably not proud of his last shot (give up shot on a makeable 8-ball at warp speed)

The Heyball table pockets look to me (from watching on a screen) a bit wider than on a pro 12 ft snooker table, but the size of the table may be deceiving.

There are a lot of 9ft snooker tables around over here, I’ll measure the pockets next time (monday), also a few 10ft snooker tables around.
Only a few places have 12ft. But I don’t go there

either way snooker balls are much smaller than pool balls, so heyball pockets are tougher. but it's still 8-ball. this guy niu just ran out. very few safety exchanges
Yes, those big balls are hard to pocket on these tables, but pro snooker is played on a 12ft tables. I got to play a bit of snooker on a 12ft. It sooo big and the pockets are tiny and far away

Long shots on a 12 footer become a function of stroke and belief. You can't aim any more than "on".
I got as far as "Ok, shoot harder, they go more."

You see that sometimes in pool. The downside is that occasional hard stroke is usually not there on emergency notice. Even Gorst butchered a couple in that last thing with Tkon.

It's not clear to me what that would mean for a rounded pocket. (That's 3 1/3 inches, more or less.) Tournament snooker tables are required to match physical, 3D templates. They don't have a single number to say how big they are.

At the shelf is what I believe the guy said

I played Chinese 8 ball at Hustler's in Bangkok. I LOVED it. If you prefer 9 ft tables over 7 ft, then I think you would love Chinese 8 ball tables.
If SVB didn't like it, he might not have liked getting shellacked by a 20 year old Chinese kid and not getting cheese..

Hustler's is such a funny place. The owner is a pretty tidy player (used to be a decent snooker player, now he just plays Chinese-8 ball)

Highend is the place to go for green baize in Bangkok. If you go there again, highly recommend it. Fantastic hall.
