i've only ever seen men play professional snooker. where are all the women? do they have their own organization? do they not compete with the men at all?

I think Allison Fisher used to play in the professional events.

Hi John,

No good. It won't work. You're too well known to sneak into a snooker competition in heels and a dress. :D

Cheers,

Woah i knew of a few women who'd made century breaks in the past and some top females pro's did a few regulary but never knew any had made a maximum break (147) I think thats awesome news in the progression of female snooker. But Im disgusted that I now know of a female that has a higher break than me, Looks like Im gonna have to get practicing seriously again 4 hrs a day+ for 3-6 months rather than the 30 mins a week knock LOL if i wanna get a maximum.

To be honest ive never heard of any females playing in professional tour events with men. pretty sure they must have there own tour to work out female rankings etc etc!! i do know of female pros practicing against male pros and entering Pro-Ams against mainly male fields!
