Went to a guys house to buy some fishing equipment….Walked into the garage and seen this sitting there. The guy said he used to do tips when he played pool. He was involved in a car crash a yr or so ago and he cant use his hands very well now. He shot me a price, and I walked out the door with this fine little jewel and about 20 old house cues for 475.00

Thief..

When he told me of the price, I started shaking...seriously...I asked him if he knew how much they were worth....he said he bought it brand new and had no need for it....I handed him the money right then....yea, I stole it

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

Oh, that's right, you can't look! ;) ;)

It's hard to tell from your pic's, but that lathe does not appear to have much wear and tear on it and looks like a real sweet set-up. GREAT pick-up!

Since we know what you paid for it, I assume your retail pricing will reflect low overhead. If I send you my shaft and tip, I expect a fee less than $3 per install!

Enjoy Ft!

Yea, I feel really bad, so I guess I will just do tips for free for about 2 yrs..that way I wont feel so guilty

Get find Shawn. The guilt will hit you real bad in a couple of days, we don`t want that to happen now do we. Maybe you should just send it to me, that way you won`t have to go through the pain. Have a good day sir.

Just be careful to not lean too far over when it's turning. That hair you got going on in your avatar may get caught up and you'd turn your head down to 11.75 mm.

Id be pissed then..Id prefer 12.25mm....and sortof conical shape on my head.....

Dont mess with my hair dirtbag

You should feel guilty for not trying to get that sweet freezer for another 20 spot, it is probably fully of Crappie, Catfish, and Rocky Mountain Oysters. Seriously you should feel no guilt he gave you his price and you took the offer.

Terrific bargain you lucky dog. But feel no guilt, my son. He bought it new, so he knew how much he paid for it. He gave you a price he was happy with and you bought it. He was happy, you were happy, and all's well with the world. Best of luck with your new toy.

Enough with the lathe, lets see the fishing gear

LOL....I was in such a state of shock...I didnt buy the fishing gear...I realized that when I got home...I showed my wife the lathe, she asked where the fishing stuff was...I said....Uhh, I forgot...so I am headig back tonight to get the fishin stuff:grin:

I heard Rocco Mediate is a good fisherman. WAIT! You are Rocco in disguise!

If you don't mind the asking, what did he pay for that set-up new? (and yeah, I agree, no guilt for you to be wearing, just a sh1t-eatin grin!)

If you were to put that on ebay, what mightcha fetch?
