Yep, and DR Dave basically says that if you chalk every shot, any commercial chalk will work fine. I think most players chalk every shot as part of their routine-While there is bad chalk that miscues at moderate tip offsets, I think there is no chalk available that allows you to hit farther from center than good commercial chalk such as Master. When it comes to friction, there appears to be no significant difference between the top brands.
Have you seen Dr. Dave's chalk testing videos on YouTube?
They have it on Amazon-IMO magic chalk is the best chalk in the world, I tested many, maybe the second best for me is predator circle chalk and there’s one EU chalk which has a yellow paper but I don’t know it’s name, that is also good.
I had a box of magic chalk, I bought it from an AZer forgot his name, if you read this msg me I’d like another box, thanks.

Worked as a machinist, I do have some diamond dust.... HUMMMmmmm.....I super glue beach sand to my tips. Another option: super glue industrial diamond shards to your tip.
Agreed! Master Chalk for me - but buyer beware- some are selling MASTAR chalk on the internet - it is Chinese not made in U.S.A.-- being advertised as Master chalk - I got burnt for a box of that junk! The pics on the internet are real Master chalk- when you get the box - it will say MASTAR chalk- off color and NOT comparable to the real stuff! While there is bad chalk that miscues at moderate tip offsets, I think there is no chalk available that allows you to hit farther from center than good commercial chalk such as Master. I put a layer of Kamui 0.98 on first, then impregnate the tip with it using a TipPik. After 2 rounds of that, I cover the tip with Balabushka as it's also a soft chalk that sticks well. I only chalk once every 3 shots or so and have no issues with dirty cloth or marks on the cue ball.I wonder if anyone has experimented with mixing chalk brands? If you alternated for example, between Blue Diamond & Magic? (‘sticky’ & ‘gritty’).
