We are going to start a few historical pages, only Palmer is started, and I am posting a link to the page. There are some Palmers we haven't shown in years, and some you may be familiar with.

We will be reformatting the Balabushka ID page, more info, pics.. all these pages are useful for ID purposes.

There are some great Palmers shown.. so enjoy them.

Balabushka

If you would like to use any of my pictures please feel free to do so. If you would like me to take pics of anything, I'd be happy to.

Palmers!

Awesome idea, and collection you have Joe! My Dad was a big Palmer dealer, and I do not have any, real sad.
As a child I would go the shop many times, fond memories.
Thank you for sharing.

I see you have pictures of my new to me 3rd catalog custom #17 with the dotes in the collors. Do you have any information on the cue other than what Chris has on his website. Such as who had it made?

Thanks,
Robert

Robert,
I wish I could tell you. But like 98% of the cues we buy and sell, they always come with cue amnesia. Its a shame, because the background information would be nice to have.

Joe

Thank you.

I really appreciate people putting the effort and resources into such endeavors. The documentation alone of these old cues is a wonderful thing, but in addition to that it makes for an online virtual museum experience for us to enjoy. Most will never have contact of any kind with such cues so providing the opportunity to appreciate them at least in this way is IMHO a great contribution to the field of cue sports.

.

Next installment will be Paradise...

This cue is a titlist with a quilted prong wood, as a sample.

Joe,
keep up the good work. We don't want this type of info to fade way.

Nice work. I enjoy these installments. Another thing I found interesting about Paradise was that he offered non-glued ferrules. The Paradise I had included a couple of extras in a pouch. They were threaded & capped ferrules with the tips installed so that the player could have a backup. Back in the day before there were cue repairmen everywhere, I think it was a pretty smart offering.
