History of a glove?

My glove history started on South Tacoma Way around 82. The army surplus had silk glove liners, for cheap. Cut off the finger tips and good to go.
In time it evolved to thrift store silk ties at 50 cents a tie.
A silk slider is always worn by my cue. The therapeutic gloves slide good too.
Keeping everything clean is just like cleaning your guns. Makes for maximum accuracy. Winchester model 70 in a .264 caliber was the ultimate sharp shooter that I had the pleasure of shooting.

The button is my contribution to evolution. The pinch able labia, er uh lips er uh tab adds a stabilizing option. High speed off road racing requires maximum stabilizers.

The Irish linen wrap is long gone. It had a couple nicks and eventually came unwrapped. I liked the smaller diameter of the butt without it. The spiraling electrical tape gives the slightest texture. Mostly just decorative.

I have 2 to share. The first is on a Rambow I have and the wrap is so unusual it looks like laid up fiberglass or similar but not quite. There is a seam so it may have been clam-shelled on there. I posted this a while back and found another...

I don't think you will beat the legendary duck tape cue. If that's not in the thread I will dig it up. I think measureman bought it on ebay and scored a nice case with it. Cue was a mess. And then of course the king of duck tape...Earl Strickland.Maybe I could contend for best in class.
