Ho Deal

I have asked this in other threads that have been buried by now. I am just curious. Has anyone ever read a report from any credible source that there are or ever have been any negotiations between Ho and the IPT
or are comments from the IPT the only source?

Thanks,
Jim

I have never seen anything from the HO Camp stating their involvement with KT or The IPT.

As far as I can tell, the IPT is the only one making noise about the Ho deal. If I were a player that was owed money, by now I would have contacted Ho to get the truth. The players can't pay their bills with promises!

Can anyone

find out How to contact HO, or his businesses? Or at least email? I mean we have Poolplayers all over, surely someone can find the info?

I've done several searches on Ho & Co., and found a real article on Ho's IPO, it only referred to some of his casinos and a theme park he owns. There was NO mention of the IPT, KY (oops KY), or on-line gambling in this, or any other article .

I posted the article yesterday under the title "Information on Ho"s IPO"

More smoke and mirrors from KY.

International Pool Tour
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

The International Pool Tour is a professional sports tour created in 2005 by Kevin Trudeau. It aims to elevate pocket billiards, specifically 8-ball, to the level of other modern sports. Closely modeled on the PGA tour, the IPT is offering the largest prize funds in pool history, including over $8 million in its first full year, 2006. Shortly after being founded in 2005, Deno Andrews was brought on as Tour Director.

The league currently consists of 150 players. At the end of the 2006 season, the bottom 50 players are eliminated from the tour and replaced with the top 50 of the 2007 Tour Card Qualifier. Everyone who makes the cut for the 2007 season is guaranteed $100,000 prize-money — but much more can be earned through tournament wins and bonuses. The IPT has already been credited with revitalizing the sport and bringing the game to a higher standard.

In 2006, the IPT secured major television contracts with OLN and Eurosport. OLN is currently running a television show produced by the IPT. The show premiered on June 4th, 2006 on the OLN network. Eurosport will broadcast live from each IPT event to millions of potential viewers across Europe. This coverage is unprecedented in the sport of billiards.

In September 2006, just prior to the World Open 8-Ball Championship in Reno, Nevada, Kevin Trudeau announced that the IPT had entered into an agreement to be acquired by Ho Interactive, a new company started by casino owner billionaire Stanley Ho. Two new sponsors were also announced offsetting the bad news that the IPT Players 8-Ball Championship scheduled for October 2006 in London, England, had been cancelled.

Landshark, again this is a PR release from KY (oops KT) and the IPT, the article that I posted yesterday was from The Shanghai Daily newspaper in China, big information credibility difference.

As always, you need to triangulate any information obtained from Wikipedia. It can contain great starting points for information gathering, but it is not a definitive source in many cases. The open format of Wikipedia is its strength and Achilles heel -- it can allow great information to get disseminated, and it can also be a channel for spin and outright disinformation.

Grain of salt, anyone?

I was just trying to point out that Ho Interactive was a NEW company....probablly founded soley for the IPT. That is prob why nothing comes up on Google for HO Interactive. With all of these "new" companies forming... IPT and HO Interactive.... all I can think of is tax shelter for the founders.

The HO Deal is a big NO Deal!

The only HO Deal that I know of happens during the negotiating period right after she gets to your hotel room. :D

corvette...<<The only HO Deal that I know of happens during the negotiating period right after she gets to your hotel room. >>

Right and as the old saying goes...the way to make a HO mad is to not pay up...a tactic that is well known to certain people and organizations!

here's all the contact info I could find
support@hocasino.net
fax:

I decided to snoop around a little online.........

HoCasino.net is one of MANY MANY companies owned by Dr. Stanley Ho.

His primary contact information can be found at his Subsidary company Shun Tak Holdings Ltd. http://www.shuntakgroup.com

The contact information is here: http://www.shuntakgroup.com/contact/index.htm

Shun Tak Holdings Ltd
Penthouse 39/F, West Tower,
Shun Tak Centre,
200 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong.
Tel: (852) 2859 3111
Fax: (852) 2857 7181
email: enquiry@shuntakgroup.com

Shun Tak Holdings is the company that would own Ho Interactive which according to press release number 44 on the IPT site....

http://www.internationalpooltour.com/ipt_content/news/press_release44.asp

.... "the IPT has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Ho Interactive, a new company started by casino owner billionaire Stanley Ho, who also owns online gambling site www.hocasino.com. Trudeau said that Ho Interactive will be taken public on the London exchange at some point in the near future" ....

So based on that, if anyone chooses to contact Shun Tak Holdings, I would guess that they would positively confirm or deny the above statement that is on the IPT website for all the world to see.

If this HO deal is still a possibility, I'm pretty sure it would still be a lose-lose situation concerning IPT's future.

I'm pretty confident that KT would include a clause, as part of the deal, that he would remain a "supervisor" of the IPT and Deno stay as tournament director for X number of years.

Obviously, the best case scenario for the IPT's future is if Ho buys the IPT AND immediately fires both KT and Deno as employees. Unfortunately, I highly doubt that will be the case though. In all reality, this clause might even be the deal breaker that would prevent Ho from buying the IPT.

I wish you would quit that. I stopped at the drug store and asked for a tube of KT>

We've been double clutched ...

Kt said the 'HO' deal, we thought of it as the 'Whole' deal, what he meant was the 'Whor*' deal ...
