Ho Interactive?

How come I can't find any information on "Ho Interactive", other than links to billiard sites talking about the "acquisition"? Shouldn't a company of that size have some sort of presence on the web? I can't find anything.

Well, yes, but, there seems to be no trace -- as far as Google is concerned -- of any company named "Ho Interactive." This would lead some to believe that such a company does not exist. Perhaps it hasn't been incorporated or chartered yet, or perhaps it exists currently only in China and its name does not appear on the web yet in English.

We are all pretty sure that Stanley Ho exists, but does Ho Interactive?

If I do a google search on Stanley Ho and "interactive" the main site I'm led to is www.drho.com, but that domain name seems to have been abandonned.

Do you see a different site that actually refers to "Ho Interactive?"

Bob, how interesting that you could not find a company named Ho Interactive. Mr. Trudeau just can't seem to hit anything head on. He's always got an angle. I hope the players get paid and Mr. Trudeau finds another hobby.

Ho Interactive....

Primary contact information for Stanley Ho can be found at his Subsidary company Shun Tak Holdings Ltd. http://www.shuntakgroup.com

The contact information is here: http://www.shuntakgroup.com/contact/index.htm

Shun Tak Holdings Ltd
Penthouse 39/F, West Tower,
Shun Tak Centre,
200 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong.
Tel: (852) 2859 3111
Fax: (852) 2857 7181
email: enquiry@shuntakgroup.com

Shun Tak Holdings is the company that would own Ho Interactive which according to press release number 44 on the IPT site....

http://www.internationalpooltour.com..._release44.asp

.... "the IPT has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Ho Interactive, a new company started by casino owner billionaire Stanley Ho, who also owns online gambling site www.hocasino.com. Trudeau said that Ho Interactive will be taken public on the London exchange at some point in the near future" ....

So based on that, if anyone chooses to contact Shun Tak Holdings, I would guess that they would positively confirm or deny the above statement that is on the IPT website for all the world to see.

KT stated, in his players meeting speech in Reno, that HO Interactive was being formed by Ho to aquire the IPT.

"Formed"....in the depths of his overactive imagination? Maybe he thought that through positive thinking he could "will it" into existence?

Well, I sent them a lengthy email. I wouldn't be surprised if they ignored it since, I would guess, business deals aren't something that they discuss with any Tom, Dick or Harry that sends an E-mail. It's a long shot, but maybe they'll reply.

Hello Bob....<<We are all pretty sure that Stanley Ho exists, but does Ho Interactive?>>

Oh, there is no question about that. Ho IS one of the richest men in China and has owned a monopoly in gambling licenses...until recently...in Macao. Ho Interactive is probably one of DOZENS if not SCORES of his business operations.

And here is a press release concerning just one of Ho's ventures. Interestingly, it seems they plan to get around the new U.S. law prohibiting the credit card companies from making payments to on-line gambling establishments.

It appears that they will see PRE-PAID cards...just like you can buy pre-paid phone cards...and use them to make payments to on-line gambling companies.

Smart.

Regards,
Jim

I don't want to beat a dead horse here but, again, this isn't "Ho Interactive". I was inititially trying to find information on that company, specifically, but couldn't find any. Maybe the company is too new. Maybe it's made up. Maybe it isn't indexed in the US/English search engines. I have no idea.

All I would infer here is that the company is brand new, and as of yet does not own or do anything. It sounds like it's something he's looking to get off the ground with the purchase of the IPT, rather than an already established company.

Yes, Mr. Ho and his billions is really interested in a bankrupt company with a con man as the front man. That is why he is sending out the press releases announcing this new addition to his portfolio.

I'm sure he swats proposals like this away like flies.
