Home Billiard Rooms

Anyone got pics of very nice home billiards rooms.

Anybody have multiple tables. Perhaps a contemporary room. I'm having a new house built and I'm planning quite a bit of square footage for the billiard room area.

I had to look at over a 100 homes before I found one with a basement that had a 14 x 18 area with no walls or posts. Don't know how to put a picture on here, but my Avitar is my pool room.

Out of curiousity, how many is a "bit" of square footage? Mine is a combination living room/billiards room. It's about 750 square feet. I have my 9 ft table, but I would really like to have a bar table as well. The 9 to do most of my practicing and the bar table for more play.

Wowwwww!!!!!!!!!

Wow Maxey, I think a 1500 sq.ft. billiards room qualifies as a tad bit more than a "bit", LOL. SHEEESHHHHH man that's a house to many people. Good luck with it though, can't wait to see some pics.

If I had it to do again I think that I would plan for a snooker table and / or a 10 foot table along with my 9 foot Gold Crown. The big tough tables level the playing field when friends come over. And of course you have home field advantage. I know the banks are different on the bigger tables but they are a real treat to play on and it would be neat if my friends could play on one while they complain about their stroke going south. When I went to play in tournaments the "little" 9 footers would seem like a bar box.

Even now, friends who play mostly on bar boxes love playing on, and complaining about, my "giant" 9 footer.

If you could find a big old 10 footer you probably be the only guy in the state with a table that big -- ohh the fun we'd have.

We added a two car garage to our home several years ago. The architect designed the room above the garage for a 9 ft table. He dropped the floor down a few inches and added dormers with windows. A couple Pics attached, I hope.

Here's My Room

Here's my getaway: Refridge, stero, cable with the NFL Network. Pool Table. It's small but so am I and it's mine. I don't like to gamble, but you wouldn't like playing me on my table. Is that considered a WOOF? :D :D

Nice

Nice looking rooms Carl and JG. You probably wouldn't want me playing on your table either, what with all the drool coming out it may get messy. :p :p :p

I'm jealous...and also too lazy, too cranky, whatever... to move or put up with remodeling contstruction.

Those are some nice rooms, I wish I knew how to post pictures on this site, will have to learn sometime. Thanks for showing all the different ideas.

First time picture poster...Hopefully the pictures are included!

I don't remember the exact size of the area, but it comfortably fits an 8 ft Brunswick. Half of the basement is the pool area and the other half family area (couch and tv area). I'm blessed with a very understanding wife!:)

Here is my room with our 8ft. Tacoma Billiards Co. table. I have the square footage for a 9ft. table but would have to install a steel beam to eliminate the post in the middle of the room. Notice the vintage 1972 pinball machine, it works!
