I thought it might be interesting to know what pool hall
each of us hangs out in. I play at the Redmans Club-
Clarksburg, WV. Maybe the 2nd best one pocket player
there. (Others would argue that point) Where do you
guys play & what is your status there? Hope this question
isn't too personal.

Bad question, huh?

I just tell 'em like my Daddy told me, "ain't no stupid questions, boy. Just stupid people".

LOL!

And this is supposed to be a better response? LOL. Hondo.

Pool Halll

Hondo, I live in VA. about 20 min. from Harpers Ferry. I like to play in Frederick MD. because it's a nice room. I also play in Sterling VA. and Leesburg. It ain't hard to be #2 when there are only three players, is it. :D
I heard that's the way it is in West "by God" Virginia. If you arn't to far away, I will play ya some one hole.

Donald, I stayed in a motel in Frederick one time, had a big bar
right beside the motel. I broke the local guy in there who was
apparently quite a blow hard and the locals loved it. Fun night
and I got out of there without a fight. Hondo

I play at SnookerS just north of Cincy. Most of the good players there play in the Cincinnati Straight Pool League. Out of the 36 players in the league I'm about number 26. ....."C" player. ....C+ on a good day.

Tom in Cincy posted a picture of SnookerS at poolplayersparadise.com but I don't have the link handy. It's a really nice place. 8' and 9' Robertsons with Simonis 860. Full bar and hot snacks. $1.25 beer during happy hour.

I've got family in Sterling so we might possibly run into
each other. You seem like a real character. Hondo

Chalkies pool hall on the north side of Indy. Its nothing like the "Chalkies" pool hall in The Color of Money. Very upscale, non-smoking, extremely tight 9 foot Diamond tables, ultra-gourmet food. A little expensive, but you can occasionally get a game with Jeanette Lee (and no you probably won't win). Its the only nice pool hall in Indy.

There's two pool halls in our area that I like to play at. Park Avenue Billiards is the better of the two...and there's no telling where I place out there. I can win the handicapp tournaments but I don't dare play in the even tourney. There's many guys there that play much better than me. Lots of gamblers!

Solids & Stripes is the other pool hall. It's preety nice, but I think the tables are too close together. The best thing about that pool hall is their full liqour bar....LOL!!!

I play at Quentin Corner Pocket in Palatine, IL. I would say I am somewhere around #5 or 6 in the room. There is a wide variety of players. There have been alot of young kids lately that are picking up the game. They aren't afraid to gamble with each other even though they don't play too well. Because of that they are improving rather quickly. On the other hand, there are many good players as well. There is alot of action on the weekends. Let me know if any of you are in the area.

Joe...you are right about visiting Diamond Billiards.

Here in Little Rock I play At Arena Billiards (over in North little Rock)
when I'm really feeling my game, lots of nice tables (9', 8', and 7') simonis cloth good food and cold beer
(lisa Marr plays there alot)

Usually I play in a little dive by my house
called The Pit Stop bar & lounge
they have about 5 tables
it's mostly retired people who hang out here (I'm 28)
but It's a cool atmosphere and I've come to know
the owners and bar tender and locals real well
so I always have a friend in there
