I have attempted REPEATEDLY to give this place a chance to get my money, though it continues- without fail- to let me down.

The only reason I have returned is because there is a very nice tight diamond table there. Today, I go in and am told that the table is not available during the day and it is not negotiable. I ask if anyone can be contacted for comment and the guy working says he just can't let me play on it.

Hard times, you will not see me again. Piss off!!

The problem will be fixed today within 2 hours when I get there. The staff is just told to give out that table last so when I arrive than no one will have to moved to another table.
I know it may seem like special privledges to some but im not only the house pro at Hardtimes I am also the person that spent 17k and donated the 2 Diamond tables and matching lights.
Everybody is welcome to stop in to Hardtimes and if im there playing put your cue together and play me some for practice and I will even buy you a drink.

Sorry you had issues Walter (black balled).Just go back there now and I will be happy to run a couple hundred balls on you.

It has been several months since I have been back there. Its unfortunate but that type of attitude happens all the time there which is one of the reasons I dont go out of my way to go there. As you noted if it wasnt for Bobby I would never return.

They would let me play on the one for free and Bobby's they would charge if I remember correct 5 bucks a hr since I knew Bobby was coming I took that table and when he got there he held back and only hit me with a 87 and 103
Thanks for taking it easy on me Bobby
I been in there several times and just play on a GC which costs nothing with lunch
I'm just happy there is still places to play at all considering how many places are closing

I figured bobby would take care of you... the staff only knows to do what they're told.
I'm guessing they were told "try not to rent that one out, so Bobby can use it".

They don't know that you're or a friend of his, that you're the famous state champ
and notorious balla. They just know that they were told not to rent it out
(at least not if there are other tables available).

I will say I can't bring myself to go there much. If you don't get a diamond,
the others are in rough shape and in the evenings you're getting bumped and jostled.
Plus the karaoke.

My initial anger at the denial having subsided a bit, I should acknowledge that the folks at hard times are in a bit of a difficult situation, wanting to protect the property of an important patron and trying to serve people they don't know.

It would be tough to make a rule that would be easy to explain to the staff and meet everyone's needs.

Guess if I wanna play on that table, I better learn how to rack the balls better or play 14.1.

Maybe they knew he was the barbox champ. We all know how those barbox players can be with equipment.

Don't hurt me, Hammer. :sorry:
