This next match will be an interesting one. Earl and Shane do like each other and have built a good rapport on the table. I think this one will be an excellent match. It's a shame that it ain't streamed. I hope Allen Hopkins makes plans next year, or builds into his budget, to have a streamer.

For sure. Shane is still in this race to the finish, though. He's gotta go through Earl to have a rematch with Tommy.

Shane will be in stroke, while Tommy will wait for them to play the winner. This will be interesting. Will a rest be good for Tommy, or do you think it's better to keep hitting balls?

In 1992 - after Tommy beat Archer for the hotseat - Tommy had to wait for Buddy to play Jose - then for Jose to play Archer - then there was a wait before the final ...

Trust me ... he'll be ready to play when it is time to play.

Before the match Tommy was wandering around the expo being typical Tommy. He hit two or three warm up shots before playing Shane. I think he will be ok.

Extended race in the finals of a double-elimination tournament. Race to 15. Wow! This might be an endurance race to the finish.

I like the alternate break. This gives everybody a chance and doesn't turn the competition into a breaking contest. :grin-square:
