At the 2005 U.S. Open, I managed to get a snapshot of Reed Pierce and Jimmy Wetch as they were getting their sticks serviced. Usually, the two of them are hanging out at tournaments I've attended. They must be good friends. Reed Pierce has been heralded as the Pride of Mississippi.

Yep, when Efren arrives at the venue site, you might as well say "Efren has just entered the building" because he's the crowd favorite and all eyes dart in his direction.
Picture taken at the 2003 U.S. Open. I kind of like this picture of Efren, and as usual, he never hesitated when I asked if I could snap his picture with Keith. I've got quite a few Efren pics, but I've always favored this one.

The lighting in the 1st pic doesn't do him justice...
LOL, I wish I had a pic of Stevie when I first met him.. skinny little redneckish kid from Spartanburg.... blue jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, and a semi mullet.... his hair was down his neck to where the collar of his shirt was in the back... This was the one good influence Todd had on Stevie... Todd was kind of preppy and Stevie started buying nicer clothes when he started hanging around with Todd... got his hair cut... now he's a stylish, handsome young man. (Of course I thought he was cute when I first met him. Now he's just down right handsome.
)
