Hours flying bye

I recently noticed how fast time goes bye when I am playing pool. It's like 10 min is really five hours..It hasn't always been like that it used to seem the exact opposite.

Does anyone else find time can really get away from you when you play pool? I mean it is crazy time warp now. Maybe it's because I am generally playing 14.1 all the time nowadays?

Maybe it is age? Maybe I am having more fun than I ever have before? Seriously though I mean hours go bye in the blink of an eye.
 
same for me. i play with friends, start at about 5 o clock and in a blink of an eye its nearly midnight.
worst thing is i dont even want to stop then :embarrassed2:
 
Jamison, you have a problem many would envy. When you're doing something you love, time seems to fly by. Let's hope your problem remains unresolved!

I thought it would change...., it wont. 20yrs later and I play everytime I get a chance!! I wont put a table in my house..., I dont know if i would ever sleep!
 
I have a Table and for the last year i barely sleep. I just played 2 hrs and it seems like i just went down there. lol.
 
Same here. I can play for hours and still want to play more. For years I refused to put a table at the house for fear of doing little else. Finally, after the more important things in life were covered I rewarded myself with a room and table that I had always dreamed of. I was right to wait, and now its play, play, play.
 
Same here. I play at a friends house usually around 7pm. We start with a race to 11, then 9, then 7. Before you know it, it is midnight and we are playing races to 5, then 3.. I swear if we were both in our 20's and not as old as we are we would play all night... Love this game!!
