what is the best glue to keep tips on house cues? I have some to pop off within a day or two. thanx cribbeecues
 
I use Loc-tite gel from the hardware store. Works great. As important as the glue you use is the prepping of the cue. Be sure it's absolutely flat and the loc-tite should hold it forever. Some ferrule materials such as the stuff Cuetec uses is not easily bonded so you might have to let the glue cure a little longer before use.

As long as the ferrule is FACED (not sanded) flat,the bottom of the tip is sanded flat,and there are no contaminates present,any good quality CA (super-glue type) should work fine.

On occasion,the ferrule material is suspect. In these cases,extra steps in surface prep should be taken.

I've been using the Gorilla Glue CA for several months now,and it works great.
Others here have great success with several Loctite variations,and even the hobby-type CA glues like Satellite City. Tommy D.
