Houston open $5000 added sept 29 -30

Nice going Don. Keep up the good work. Keep us posted. They need a bracket list link.

I'm out...3 wins and 2 losses...off to find a hotel room. :)

Thumbs Up

You did really good Don. For a guy that had such a long lay off from pool, that is good playing in my book. Those guys who sign up for those type of tournaments can hold their own. Proud of you.

Thanks, Mike. :) I've still got the "Don't take the game so seriously" internal struggle. Years wasted devoting myself to a game with no substantial ROI. Now that I respect the game for what it is, it's a whole lot more fun. I still hate 9 ball...

I would of gave you $375 and that is a fact. If I made a $1000 on $20 would be happy! 50-1 on the money is so much better than even money on the blind pick. Learned my lesson just buy Danny! LOL

Well i am sure if he sold for $20 that he bought half of himself in such a big tournament?? I understand he should get a little jelly but it is up to the buyer and who knows how much the buyer actually won because he may have bought other people that didnt make the money. You should buy half yourself if you wnat any part of the calcutta cause it is up to the buyer if he wants to give out a jelly...

Danny you are the man. Not to get all gay but your performance was inspirational to me. The working man is not a sucker. Good shooting man for sure...keep it up.

Danny ain't complaining that I can tell. I am. Your response is a good textbook answer, but if you knew more about the situation you may feel a little differently. Like he is a working stiff that can barely draw his ball when he is in stroke but still enters in every single tournament for the last decade despite never winning or having a reasonable shot to win (No offense Danny you da man!). If it wasn't for players like Danny, then there would be no Houston Open, just 5-7 favorites and 15-20 "A" players playing for significantly less money, instead of the full 128 man field it was.

This guy bought his half and buys it everytime. This guy has money but it is a kind gesture to throw a guy something that tries. If he had no heart and just gave up then I say **** the player. This guy played great against tough players and never gave up. You check my track record I buy people all the time in the calcutta and I jelly people even I win no money on it for trying. It is the right thing to do. I do not know who he was but if I had a calcutta would bar him from bidding on people. Not fair for the player.

Best movie ever made Bronx Tale Sonny's right dad the working man is a sucker. Good post dog. Wonder dog baby!

great shooting Danny!

No need for comments from you trouble maker! LOL

Danny probably would not complain if he got shot in the foot. Guy has the best attitude ever seen but guess I could learn something from him about that. I was not the one who did not get a jelly but hate seeing people with no respect thats all. Just not fair for the player in my opinion. I do not play well and love pool so to compete like I was in the tourney I buy someone. I like to sweat someone just like someone who bets on there favorite football team. That makes it more to me. Anyway good shooting brother good to see someone who was the underdog come through with a great finish.

Danny Lee,

I'm speechless man.

You touched me...

Are you ever going to come watch someone in person? LOL
