Guys, why don't we come up with the entry fee for one lucky AZB'r for the UPA event at the Bike this January?
I'll donate $50 to the person we vote in.

$350. I believe there is also $100 fee for non-UPA members. I think that the $100 fee covers a year's membership dues. I could be mistaken. I'll have to look at their site again.

Hi, Jimmy M.! I gotta little knowledge about the UPA.

The UPA used to charge a $25 fee for non-UPA members to participate in their events. They may still allow this $25 fee payment in some venues. Keith McCready was informed by a player rep he would not be allowed to compete in the UPA event held at Grand Central Station unless he was a member of the UPA, that this particular tournament was restricted and only UPA members could attend.

If one desires to become a "professional pool player," then the $100 is the membership fee, paid once a year.

If you have a strong sponsor like Cuetec, as an example, the UPA has "wild cards" which enables the UPA to admit non-UPA members. Hey, it worked for Earl Strickland, and Earl sure did play well at Grand Central Station. Some of those World Summit matches are going to be on TV tomorrow, December 20th. I was happy to see the UPA president Robert Lipson giving us a heads-up on the dates right here on this forum! I've marked my calendar. ;)

Reading the AzBilliards Home page about the UPA Season Finale held at the Bicycle Club, it looks like it is going to be a fantastic affair. Looking forward to reading all about it! :)

OK, do we have any more donors?
Any suggestions?

I dont think anyone would be more interesting to watch make a run in that tourney then Mark Tademy.
