You Cross banked the one in the opposite corner and let the cue ball go down to the end rail and back up so you could shoot the two in the corner closest to the seven ball.

2002 English Pool World Championships were in the Shetland Isles and I happened to be on the same ferry as the England team.. To much amusement, one of the England Team managed to convince another member of his team he had earned a load of money hustling rig workers "on the pool table in the other bar"..
Said player disappeared for a long time on the hunt for this pool table..
If you haven't been on a ferry in the North Atlantic then you might not understand the hilariousness of this
I have special balls for this table.Know matter how unlevel it becomes,the balls will always roll true.
It's hard to tell but if the angle is right I would rather pocket the one in the lower right hand corner and draw the CB back for a shot on the 2.
But if I had this shot to shoot I would opt for the safe, kicking the 1 back up the table and leaving the CB nestled safely behind the 4 or banking the 1 behind the 5/6/9/ cluster and leaving the cb back near it's original location.

You cant draw it back without catching the 4.The shot's not straight in.
I kinda figured that might be the case, so I guess I would have went for the safe. I like those odds a little better than running it out. Even if you manage to get from the 1 to the 2 there is still a lot of back and forth on that layout.
But, since we're going for the out here the cross corner looks to be the best bet, the lower percentage shot would be to shoot the 1 ball 2 rails in to the left side pocket if it passes the nine.
Looks like from the angle in the picture you might be able to force follow 2 rails between the 6 and 9 pretty naturally, but if you can't see enough you probably cross banked like others are saying. Although with all the traffic you would either have to put inside english or a ton of outside... or get lucky and squeeze between the balls.

Or center left depending on how the rails work. It's a pretty standard 1P shot.
Either cross banked the 1 or played it straight in the corner and went forward with high inside (possibly clipping the 4) 3 rails for some assistance and luckily dodging traffic.

Good call. Actually, it is a better shot with the other balls to the right of the shot.
Just looking at the post table, I thought about the old rule on cross banks and just thought it would double kiss. But went right in. :wink:

Id like to see a pic of the position layout after the shot........... probably kissed , caromed , cannoned , rubbed, bumped , jumped ,ticky tackied evey ball on the table in the process :winknudge:
