How do these diamond tables play so badly? vid

So Diamond picked Superspeed first because????
You seem stuck on cushions being how Diamond copied the CGs, when in fact the cushions are just ONE component that makes a pool table rail, what about the rest of the rails, did Diamond copy that too???

That's just what I read at the bottom on the attachment
Still just an opinion, I've been involved with Diamond since March 2000, Mark has never been involved with the factory, ever.

Don't get me wrong, Mark is entitled to his opinion, but he can't change the facts. And for what it's worth, Mark and I both agree the best cushion for GCs is not the Artemis, but rather the Superspeed are a better cushion, the real question is the longevity of the Superspeeds.

Further more, the 1 11/16" thick subrails is not exclusive to Brunswick, it IS however the specifications REQUIRED if you're going to install ANY K55 cushions if you want the maximum playability from them, don't matter what brand table. Sure, you can install them on different thickness rails, and the balls will still bounce, BUT they WON'T play at their best, period!

And for the record, GC's have a hit and miss on the subrail thickness, with some rails being thicker than 1 11/16" while others are thinner, as well as thick and thin in the same set of rails, and some were exactly 1 11/16" thick. Further more, Brunswick couldn't for the life of them make matching miter angles in the corner pockets and that includes the Anniversary. Centennials, GC1,2,3, 4 and 5's. Their corner pocket angles vary from 141 to 143 angles in the SAME corner pockets!!!!!

And some were even 144-145 miter angles!!!! And forget talking about the down angles, what a joke!!!

I just talked with Mark the other day, he's FINALLY realized there's NO money in working on junk, worn out pool tables, there's only making a living, but NOT living life, because working on old rails don't ever pay enough, and unless you change your life, that's all you'll do until you drop dead some day!!!

Notable, neither corner is visible in your "corner to corner" shot. Strange that.
sorry didn't have anyone to hold the phone. I am coming straight out of the corner hitting first diamond past the side it will go 3 rails into the other corner every time on my table. why it plays this way I do not know. RKC has asked me to call him to talk about it but haven't had time. This table was bought new in 2004 and has always played this way. I was always puzzled when people would talk about the red labels playing short when mine doesn't.

What are you even talking about? I'm not sure even you know.

If they wanted to copy Brunswick why stop at the cushions which nobody can even see while hidden under cloth? Why not use Formica rails, metal pocket castings, multiple piece long rails, etc???

I like how you pick and chose what you are willing to answer, quit cherry picking and answer the rest please. Explain the above, then maybe, just maybe your cushion beliefs can gain some traction.
I suppose you believe that any cue manufacturer that has points and veneers are copying Titlist?

I once mentioned to a pretty good local player that the tables were really banking short while we were warming up before a tournament. He tells me he has not noticed and banks several balls in to show me I was mistaken. He plays in that room all the time and is just used to them.
