How do you make it fit?

Wondering what it would take to fit an ob1 Radial pin shaft to this butt.
Could the OB shaft be retapped or clearanced.
Or would it be better to replace the pin.
What is a ballpark price either way. Thanks for any imput.

I would plug the shaft and re-drill and tap to fit the pin. That would be the easiest and the cheaper of the two you have described.

Somebody must.
I am wondering just what is the difference.
Also When did the unilock radial pin first come out??

I bought a tap once that was supposed to be a Chinese radial - but it didn't work. My policy is to either pay to have the pin changed or send it back to China for repair.

I believe Unilock started making Radial pins in the mid nineties.

Job

If I were to do this job I would want the butt in my possession for at least 2 days to make sure I have the correct specs on the pin. It looks to me that is a radial pin from the picture but that is a guess. There are a lot of pins that look like other pins and are not.

That looks like an Omega ( import ) cue with the same " radial" pin used on Varner and Sledgehammer.

Yes, it is the radial pin that Kao Kao uses. The Cue is not from Omega but is probably the same pin because they also use Kao Kao.

There is nothing wrong with the pin. I only ask because I have someone who wishes to fit his OB1 unilock radial to one of these butts.

I'm almost positive that I read that Predator does not guarantee any shaft that is tapped for any Radial type pin other than Uniloc.
