How do you view the term 'Banger'?

Yeah, that is me, lol. Playing 8 ball for example, it is not surprising to find myself stuck, and lose the game, because I did not think through the entire rack before my very 1st shot. Yeah, sadly, it seems to me that I am just a banger.
 
Id rock that shirt, just the word BANGER (black tee white lettering bold font) just like the iconic TCOM vince shirt. LOL Wear it to your favorite barbox establishment, then bust the whole joint. The expressions on faces would be priceless. Pool people would get it, others might just think you’re a perv.

But I couldn’t take your business seriously if the word BANGER was anywhere near or in your company’s logo, name etc.

Yeah, that is a banger, lol, but I think there is more then 1 meaning to the term banger. It also means, any player who just plays for the fun of playing, and who does not care about improving their game, and who never does drills. I guess it is just a matter of opinion. I really love the game, and would not want to be thought of as just a banger. I always loved competing against better players, and playing in tournaments. Never cared for leagues though. I wonder if most league players are considered bangers. I bet that 99% of them never do drills.

I do not think that most league players do drills or care about getting better. They do it purely as a social gathering (that is all). Are most of them just bangers? I guess that is a matter of opinion. I guess in a way, a very low skilled pool player could be considered as not a banger, if he or she actually plays the game seriously, cares about learning the game to improve, and cares about wanting to win their matches. To me, most pool leagues are extremely boring though. I would rather do drills all night then to have to sit through he average league night.
 
I mostly play one pocket and would like a Banger tshirt. I think that would be pretty funny to wear while playing.

Lol, that sounds like an old friend of mine. He was a pretty good ball maker, but not a very good position player. Oh my could he break the balls hard though. He had the strongest break that I have ever seen. You will not believe this, but he would place the cue ball at the spot position (hopefully you know what I mean), and he would bridge off of the rail (so this would be a very long bridge, from the rail to where the cue is at the spot), and he would crush the 8 ball rack head on, so hard, that the cue ball would go completely vertical, straight up, and slam into the light that was I am guessing around 3 feet above it. It was amazing, I always thought, and he hit that break just like that very consistently, lol.

From a clothing standpoint a lot of better players would likely find humor in the irony of wearing a shirt that has "Banger" across the front.

Lol, how about a tee shirt that says "Just a Banger" on the back? And maybe "I need the 7", or "I need the 7 ball". Or anything that sounds like the person wearing the shirt is a nit. I do not know. Just a few idea's, lol.

Lol, no, it has to be a term used within the pool world (that pool players would get a kick out of). The word can't be used as any other meaning.

I always thought of a banger being someone who might think one ball ahead, uses a lot of top english and likes to hear the ball slam the pocket. Kind of a stage everyone goes through as a teen... heck yeah I'd wear one! It'd get some good laughs! :) Extra large please!
