How does JLC make this one ball?

play it .25 speed and its easy to see. cool shot. hit the one then the other ball sending cb back into the one. kind of a 'wedgy' hit.
I think the 1 rebounds off the rail to hit the CB again and caroms itself into the pocket. Either way, no double hit and a great shot (if he thought of it).

Edit: so it was Carlo who was shooting. Oops. And it was call shot 10 ball, evidently. The answer to the original question is that JLC makes the one ball by having Carlo slop it in.
As a herd shot it is still pretty interesting.Bogus, confused comment:
I'm pretty sure Carlo is wrong. I think that one ball only goes with two hits and it has to be hit before the cue ball hits the three.
I've never seen that particular herd shot before. I wonder if Chang was playing it.

That was damn cool, even better if he meant to... just by watching, it appears he meant to. Looks like a legal hit as well. Seemed like Carlo thought it was good, not sure where you think he had issue. Not even the commentators made a big deal on it. And that's too bad, it was phenomenal.
Definitely a clean hit and kiss. The one probably caught the groove and rolled in parallel instead of banking in.

Ok, first of all, didn't carlo shoot the one? Second, i think he was telling the ref he should have called the pocket but did not.
I seriously doubt he has any carom experience and that shot isn't useful.in any carom game anyway
Agreed. The bridge hand was a left hand with no glove. Since no foul was called, I think you are right about what transpired.
