How important is for you how you look when u enter a pool room

I pretty much care what I look like everytime I leave the house. You never know who you're going to meet. I'd hate to say I missed out on the girl of my dreams because I looked like a bum and smelled like a landfill.

I guess I like to wear clean jeans and a polo to play pool. I fix the mop on my head too, when I have enough mop to do so. Long sleeves get in the way and screw up my stroke so I make sure to not wear dress shirts.

Always look your best. She'll notice if you don't :)

Drew, I'd tend to agree with you if it were'nt for the fact that I've been married three times and the girl of my dreams ran off with a saxophone player from Peoria.
 
I always like to look presentable whenever I go somewhere, however, I do not feel the need to look extra special to play pool, or flashy for that matter.

Loose fitting clothes that keeps me cool. Like Shorts and a Dry fit Golf shirt or a T shirt.

Hardly ever wear jeans and never long sleeve.
 
How to dress before entering a Pool Room ? .... Hmmm, I suppose it would depend on your objective upon entering that particular pool room.

For the most part, people judge us (on first impression) by appearance and demeanor.

Once they are familiar with the "real you", it may not matter how you are dressed.

I see folks from all walks-of-life every day I play in the local pool hall and have met some very interesting, talented, and articulate people who were dressed in what appeared to be clothes recently acquired at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

You must have an idea of how you would like others to view and accept you, so dress accordingly.
 
I only dress up for tournaments but im a pretty slick when it comes to my apparel. I have to dress for work and i usually hit the pool hall on my way back home but on my days off im in warm up and a t-shirt.
 
Well ... I'm pretty short, so its tough to reach a lot of shots. That's why even though I'm a guy, I usually wear a comfortable evening dress.

Don't be confused, I'm not gay, its just that when I wear the dress, no one notices my high heels. :thumbup:
