How individuals acquire money to gamble?

What story would CNN like to hear? The one about these people stealing or or that people don't seem to care?

The people are not worshipped, turn it down a notch.

We discuss tales of hi betting coz we like stories about hi betting. Nothing more.

There are far bigger stories of people who profit from the exploitation of others.

You really think a tale of stealing change from car washes is news-worthy?

Isn't this the same guy bragging about beating/cheating the slots, Cherry Master 10 days a month?

There are three ways to get your story on CNN. One is that it's a major story and other media is already covering it. Two is it's a story that one of CNN's top newsmen/women feel strongly about or have it on their website as one of their pet projects. Three, you know someone high up at CNN.

Example for #2. Anderson Cooper will do stories on bullying. Shane was bullied all through school and look at him now. Cooper might do that story if enough people contacted him and if Shane would do the interview.

Where a lot of the money comes from in high stakes gambling on pool is not going to make the air. Everybody knows that. Johnnyt

Former post by PoolRokie:

Strongest spot you have seen

"I ran with Al Mason for a month or so around San Antonio and managed to drum up the best games
I ever seen. We were in a small poolroom one night and he had a C rated player spotting him the wild 7..."

I thought you didn't like steeling? LOL

I am curios how people feel about the source of the money that is used or gambled in high dollar matches or gambling in general. I recently responded to a thread with information about how individuals acquired money that they gambled with. I have strong morals about stealing and individuals that steal for a living.

Anyway I mentioned the following names Tony Watson, John Hager Jr, Dale Niepoetter(drakes father), Bob Dixon, Scooter just a few I can't stand. I wrote some details how they received the money they gamble with, pay bills with and send kids to Mark Wilson's pool academy.

Anyway these individuals are worshipped when betting high. Is the source of the money important to people on this site. Last time I mentioned how they got it I was told I cant express my first amendment rights here.

CNN would love to here that. If I'm told again I can't express my opinion about these thugs I'm emailing Don Lemon of CNN with the story.

The first amendment does not protect libel or slander, just FYI.

OP really has a grudge against these folks for some reason. Did Scooter rob his car wash or something?

I think the point is that you either can or will do nothing about their source of money. Do you hang out at car dealerships or restaurants and say the same things? I understand where you're coming from, but it just isn't possible to police the world one small crook at a time. My opinion is this.. would you rather that money stay in their hands? When I was young, a friend of mine said he wouldn't want to be rich because they have so much power to help people, but don't. My response was would he rather be able to help those as he states or just continue as is? The choice is yours, Robin Hood.

Guess I must be in the minority.... I prefer to have things out in the light of day... The saddest example of the glorification of garbage would be the article done on Scooter after DCC when it has been widely known where Scooter had been getting his gambling money... It is not gambling high when they are gambling with monopoly money more or less....

Of the players listed Scooter has been the only one where I have seen links to the newspaper articles confirming arrest so I have no idea about the other individuals.... IF the OP has links to other articles I think those would be fair game.... Funny thing is most of those guys would likely be on the "good" action list... "Trustworthy and good" people list? guess not.....

Well that escalated quickly.

I work full time for my gambling money.

I gamble with the water company, PG&E, garbage company, comcast, mortgage company and insurance.

Maybe they can spot me weight because I seem to be writing the checks in those matches. :p

This actually sounds like he is looking for a source of gambling money. I don't see how it makes any difference where people get their money from. Unless the OP is looking for a get rich scheme he should stay out of other peoples business.
