How long is too long to wait for something you ordered?

Ok I'm not looking to call anyone out publicly yet. I ordered something from someone on this site back in January. No it wasn't very expensive. Also I've had no contact with this individual, because apparently I have no way to contact them, other than email or pm. Neither of which get answered. This individual seems to be rather highly thought of on this site and the pool world. But this is not a way I would think someone would conduct their business.

10 days is reasonable. 30 if you're gracious and there's been contact. If this guy/gal hasn't responded to you at all you're definitely in the right to be upset. You've waited long enough in my opinion.

it has been long enough that you must rat him out here if he refuses to answer emails or pms. wait too long and you lose all chance of getting satisfaction

I think it depends on what it is.

For custom 1 of 1 pool cues i've waited 2 years or more.

It could be that your order fell through the cracks of a small business. IF they have a website there may be a way to at least contact the webmaster or if you know them perhaps you could send them a PM here on AZB with your inquiry.

They may not even know you have a problem with your order.

Someone told me about this thread and said the OP had made a post looking for a way to get in touch with me I am guessing over a shirt. I never saw that post. If you are trying to reach me I have responded to all the emails I have received so either I didn't get them or a spam filter caught you.

If you dont have your shirt you should of received a refund if thats not the case I screwed up somewhere. I have cleared my PM box so please ship me a PM with your name and invoice number and I'll get things fixed. Sorry for the screw up I was trying to keep this crap from happening anymore.

Thanks for your response. Just to let everybody know I'm very satisfied with the way this came out. It was a honest mistake.

I placed an order for 2 t-shirts since first week of March 11

It's more than 1 month now and I have not received my t-shirts and my emails were not answered.

Not an expensive lesson, but a lesson nonetheless.

It's not a lesson. Justin is basically a one man operation right now. It's difficult to ship out a shirt when you're on the opposite coast for a month. I believe you caught them at a very inopportune time.

Justin may take a while sometimes, but it is my experience that he makes it right in the end. TAR is not like JC Penney. They don't have 1000 people to box up your order and ship it the next day. His orders go in waves. You may have caught him when the tide was low.

Errrr.. I have to ask. Who's Justin?

It's no biggie, really :), if I still did not receive my t-shirts by 2012, maybe I'll reply to this thread again.:D

I am Justin and I am TAR basically at the moment.

You shouldnt have been able to order any shirts in March. I closed out all of our inventory (or thought I did) to prevent any new orders until we got things squared away. I havent even been looking at the store for that reason.

PM me your invoice number or name on the Paypal and I'll send your money back. I'm going to put a big CLOSED sign on the store now. I hate this kind of thing and I'm sorry you got caught in the screw up.

Ahh..

I think it's a misunderstanding. I dun think I ordered any thing from you, I was just replying to this thread on how long is too long to wait for something I ordered.

I ordered my shirts from another website that I did not mentioned the name.

Good luck to you and TAR :)
