The $5,000.00 added one pocket tournament is the weekend of February 4-6, 2011. It's so close to the Derby City Classic, I couldn't justify going to both so I'm making plans to attend the San Leon, TX one pocket tournament.

Any other AZBers going to play or attend?

Hi Joey...are you refering to the Casper's One Pocket tourney coming up next month? If so, last fall they changed the date to early February in order to not conflict with another tournament and is actually $5k added.

The One Pocket tourney in San Leon, Texas is also a qualifier for the 12th U.S. Open One Pocket Championship (which is the $10k event). Below are details about the Casper's event.

I would have been in deep doo-doo. I wrote the original date on my calendar and just glanced up at the calendar when I wrote that date. I will edit the date now. Thanks for the heads' up.

I even got the added money wrong. :o I'll just blame it on the flu that I'm getting over. :wink:

How's that tower treating ya joey? I'm thinking about going but have been battling this flu for going on 10 days now and 20lbs later!!! How strong is that hunh?

I like caspers and if I'm alive hopefully I'll be willing to show up too lol

Hi Cris,

Denis Strickland (who is working on the tourney with Caspers) told me it was $5000 with 32, which I was also told they already have that amount committed. Call Denis on the number I put in my earlier post to get the most up to date info.
