How many cue sports are there?

1. Pool
2. Billiards
3. Snooker
4. Russian Pyramid

I'm just curious if there are any other cue sports out there that I don't know about. I don't want to break it down into specific games such as 9-ball vs. one pocket - or 3 cushion vs. rail (?). Basically if the table, balls, and pockets (or lack thereof) are different enough to call it a different cue sport, that's what I am after.

I watched some Russian Pyramid on You Tube and it was very entertaining. I might take up 3-cushion some day just to develop some additional skills for pool. Otherwise, I'm just curious to know what else is out there.

thanks

UK pool
chinese 8 ball
there are variants of carom that use larger balls or a smaller table size than 3c, like korean 4 ball
kaisa
even american pool could be segmented into bar box, 9 foot, and even the new 10 footers

These tables were very popular in Italy used for playing boccette and italian billiards.

Note:
Before american tables arrived in Italy, a lot of american games were played on these tables, in particular 8/15 a variant of 8 ball. However with the advent of american tables and the change of rules of boccette and italian billiards ( these games are now played on billiards tables without pockets) these tables started to disappear.
The pockets are only 2mm bigger than the balls.

There is also game boccia (best that i can translate).
Game is played on carom table. Both players have 4 balls, (red and blue) and 1 small ball usualy black. Incoming player opens the game (throws with hand black ball) and then he roll 1 red (minimum 2 rails) and try to get as close as possible to balck ball.
Opponent then try with his balls to be better then him. He must play until he manage to be closer to balck ball. If he fails and runout all 4 balls than opponent has his turn to increase points (each ball closer to black 1 point)
All 4 ball -8 points :D.
Usualy 1 game is up to 15 points.

The rules are very similar to boccette. I can't find the rules in English and I'm too lazy to write them here. :D

That is Bumper Pool in the US, but that's about the best Bumper Pool table I've ever seen!

Yes, those are great tables. I don't know about that one in particular but some are even heated and they have real tight pockets.
