i wish i had more time. hopefully i get this job ive been working at getting and i'll have much more time on my hands.

once every saturday is about the best i can do unfortunatly

Lets say if I had a Penny for Every hour per week I played, or practiced, I could almost buy a candy bar at walmart one a month.

wow!

No standard distribution here! Your stats are totally skewed towards the obsessed! ( of which group I an a proud member.) :banghead:

I would love to spend more time playing pool, but silly little obligations like work and family keep interrupting me! :)

Counting League night, 7-8 hours a week. Once in a while I'll get a little more in.

Always amazes me to read people spending 3-4 hours a day practicing. Maybe my lottery ticket will come in one of these days...

I would love to play more but, I travel for business almost every week. I try to play in tournaments while on the road, but my schedule is odd. At least I have a table at home which keeps me in stroke; 2-3 hrs a week.
Cheers, Mark

I've been playing 8-10 hours a week, counting league night. I try to split my time fairly equal between practice drills and actual play.

I wish I had a space big enough for a table. This sport gets expensive...

Man cave, with tread mill, Fox news, pool table an at least 20 hrs. a week play time. Life is hard when you are retired.:smile::smile::smile:

Im not sure.I have my own table and a lot of times i pass by and shoot a rack or 2 or just a few balls.this goes on everyday but i have no clue how much actual time is spent on the table.

With three kids and a business to run it is a challenge. I will get in 30 minutes a day, and can stretch that out on weekends (periodically).

3-6 hours a week.....it's a shame, every now and then I get in 12 hours in a week....you can really tell the difference, stroke gets smoother, potting and shape improve....that bridge from 4 hours a week to 12 hours a week makes a MONSTER difference in your game IMO....

Yup! same here...unless it's fishin season:rolleyes:

I was spending at least 20 hours a week on the tables but lately I've cut back. Spending a lot of time trying to sell my book, promote the New England pool and Billiard Hall of Fame, AZ and Facebook hasn't helped either. I need to get back playing again.

I practice like twice per week. One session I practice specific shots and skills that need work. The other session is basically a 14.1 practice session where I just run balls. After that I try to match up when possible for some cash or play local tourneys.

Btw I'm having a lot more success with this method than when I was just practicing for 4 or more hours every day. A good bit of advice I received was to never practice after you are bored and another is that bad practice is worse than no practice at all.
