How many hours do you think you've spent actually at the table playing pool?

its actually not BS 37,000 hours is the minimum amount ive invested, anyone who has known me long enough can bare witness, I litterally played pool an average of 300 days out of 365 each year, and on an average day at the pool hall i play 6.5 hours/day. Of course there has been days where i played as little as only 4 hours and as much as 16 hours straight but most days its just 6-7 hours at a time. I did this for the last 19 years and remain doing this still.

With that kind of time spent holding a cue in your hand shouldn't you be a threat to win most tournaments you enter?
I am just starting my 4th year of playing, I play almost everyday, usually about 2 hours a night, sometimes more, sometimes less, but that figures to about 2200 hours. I sure am glad that I have a table at home!!!

If you've played 6.5 hours a day for 20 straight years you should be robbing open tournaments. Is it too late to consider a job?

But wasn't one of your threads an open invitation to match up against any legitimate "B" player for money? Its pretty tough to find "B" only tournaments, at least around here it is. Just curious is all, I am not trying to throw any insults your way, just been playing 3 full years so far and still trying to figure out pool related including how good I should be at this point in my "career".

Im going on the road

Holy crap. I just figured out that I will be at 10,000 hours around Christimas time. January 1st 2015 I am quitting my job and hitting the road. Sure, my wife and three kids will think I am nuts but think of all of the great stories I will have to tell. I should probably sell my gas guzzling suburban and get somthing more economical but being 6'5" I might need the space for those nights I cant afford a motel 6. Maybe a sneaky pete instead of my nice cue to throw them off for a while too. Oooo, I should probably change my wardrobe to match all of the pool hall ne'er-do-wells I see living in the halls. Walmart? Now where is a town with lots of APA 6's that think they shoot like gods? B tourneys etc? You're all in trouble now!

It has to be in January. I am still at 9,972 hours and counting.

In all seriousness, be safe in your travels and I look forward to it. I think you need to defend your title you won at Skinnys anyway.
