Last week there was a thread about scuffing. I made a comment that I never scuff buckshotshoey replied "I agree. Everyone should mention what tip they are using. Better data base for everyone to see what tip seems to require more maintenance'. This made me realize I had accidentally created a natural experiment.
I installed a Kamui Clear Black Hard tip on July 17th and noticed my shaft had warped on October 7th. Being the weirdo that I am I had photographed and logged the tip change on my blog. So today I pulled the shaft out and photographed it again. To make it slightly more interesting I happen to log my practice everyday in a little black book and post my practice to my blog so I actually know how many balls I hit with it give or take a few hundred.
Tip: Kamui Clear Black Hard
Installed: July 17th 2014
Retired: October 7th 2014
Balls Hit: 24,500
