How many pros are entered in the 9-ball and 10- ball events so far for for the World Classic. I can't find it on their site but a few people have said not many. Where is this info at? Johnnyt

Awful quiet in here. I'll take that to mean not many have signed up. 256 in each group was a dream anyhow. Johnnyt

I know u r only asking because,I really don't know.But I'll guess about 5 top pro's...:D

Backpocket...It seems like folly by the promoters not to list EVERY pro that is signed up and paid. I'd say it will easily be 5x that many (50+), which is still a LOOOONG way from 256! If I had to guess, I think that most of the divisions, pro & amateur, will perhaps fill 64-man brackets. Somebody is going to win some very decent money...but most of the rest of the field, in each division, will be lucky to make back their expenses. I hope I'm wrong, and there are hundreds of players that show up.

You could check the lines at www.BetUS.com and maybe get an idea. I am sure these are not all the players planning on playing. Maybe just the ones already signed up. Either way, there are a handful of great players-Efren, Earl, SVB, Varner, Archer, Francisco, Gabe, etc.

Thank you for the link. Johnnyt

Scott, I've been predicting that there will be 100-125 players in the one-pocket division. But I could be dead wrong. There are oodles of players in east Texas alone who would not have to worry about a hotel. So I'd be surprised if the fields aren't "decent". However 256 is unlikely in any of the singles events.
