How many racks have you run?

I've racked several guys. But didn't run every time. Only when they were about 10 times the size of me. And a couple of times I have racked, broke to run, but it was too late. They had me!LOL

Can't help recalling the story of Kevin Trudeau's straight faced and deadly serious assertion in Las Vegas, whilst knocking some balls around with a cue action which resembled a severe attack of Parkinsons disease, that he'd once personally ran 200+ balls in 14:1...........for anyone who needed it at the time that was a .............BIG CLUE!!!!! :)

He said the same thing to me at Hard Times. There were three or four people talking with him and he mentioned that he had run 201 in Straight Pool. I had seen him hit balls around a little while before with Sigel and I knew then that this guy was nothing more than a rich pool imposter.

You're a good player!

I never really kept track of this stuff. I remember a few good runs though. I played the U. of Florida school champ one time (he had finished second the year before in the College Nationals to either Dan Louie or Nick Varner - not sure which one now). I NEVER played Straight Pool for money but we had agreed to play one set of 9-Ball and one game of 14.1 ($50 each).

I won the 9-Ball something like 11-6 or 7. Then we played a 100 point game, and he had me down 91-28. And my brother, who was a med school student there walked in. He had never watched me play before and I was pissed that he was going to see me lose. I started making balls and when the smoke cleared I had run 72 and out! I only won $50 but the pat on the back from my brother meant millions to me.

I can remember several occasions playing in action bars where the tables are lined with quarters. And everyone is playing for $2 to $5 a game. I have held the table for hours until closing time, winning 50 or 60 games in a row! And I walked out with my pockets stuffed with bills. :)

Those are the "runs" I most remember and like.

Run outs

4 pack in nine ball and like the rest usually make a stupid mistake

In a viking tournement in athens I went breakand run ,droped the nine ball the next break and then another break and run,the match went hill/hill where I broke and ran this is the best that I played in a tournement.

10 ball 3 racks -this is the game I play except at tourneys really helpes your game with run outs.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again... I'll spot KT 50 balls to 100 for what ever he's willing to put up. I say he can't/has never run 50, never mind 200.

John,

Did you say you ran 8 and Out playing One Pocket ten times in a row, and maybe more? All I have to say is Efren better give you a wide berth. :)
I have racked seven in a row once playing a pro.

The last time a tread like this aired, someone stated there was a bunch of lyers. Then a few suggested the same. So be it.

I remember some tough outs or behind in some matches then running out for the cheese. I have plenty of times but my memory won't recall that many.

I'm in no danger because that was then and not how I play now. I still can play pretty sporty but my serious gambling days are over. Well than and tournaments as well.

9 Ball, 9 racks. That was against Louie Roberts. We played several times and Louie never booked a winner.
8 ball, I think 6 racks. Not positive but I have run three playing one handed. The guy quit.

14-1, 113 and out to win a tournament.
154 in practice.

One hole, 8 and out way more than I can ever remember.

Golf 6x12. 6 and out from my opening bank shot 3 times. 5 and out more times than I can count, er well remember.

Snooker, 98.

Three C, 6. Ony played a hand full of times.

Banks. I don't consider myself a good banker but I have banked over a rack to the side by lining then up in a row.

Well thats it, the rest don't matter.
