How many spot shots can you?

I assume you are talking about "Spot Shot Kenny" Kiddy. He is mentioned in another recent thread. There is a link to a recent video of him.

What was the technique?

Here's the other thread: https://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=511883
He put the cue ball on the head spot every time and shot very soft with the object ball just trickling in.
It is amazing how many you can make like that once you get in the groove. I have seen my wife do 20 and 30 after watching him do like 200 you had a good mental image of how to do it. You felt like it was easy, and it was. The real secret I would say is the soft stroke.

Someone on here claimed they could make a spot shot and the CB not hit a rail.
There was quite a long thread about it.

If you put the cue ball all the way over near the long rail, it's possible to leave the cue ball more than half a diamond short of the foot rail while the spot shot barely trickles in. It's a real psychological problem for a lot of players to hit the ball that softly. I think I would have bet against leaving the cue ball six inches short.

How many spot shots can you make in a row with either of the 2 following conditions.

1) You get down on the cue ball and get one stroke and then you have to hit the cue ball. Take as much time as you want before the shot, but once your bridge hand touches the side rail or cloth you get your one pump.

or

2) You have to fire the spot shots in, no slow rolls.

Fire is subjective, but you understand that it means hit it pretty hard.

In the past I did drills with no practice strokes.

The drill is basically:

set your cue to cb......check alignment.......pull back and pause......start follow through.

Number one and two should be fairly easy to most any advanced player.

As for how many? Right now.....ZERO.....I'm still laid up from back surgeries.

Before surgery, I'm positive I would have got tired from walking back and forth spotting the balls before I missed using number 1 or 2.

A spot shot is the MONEY shot after all.

Spot shot masturbation.

And what?

You dont think its possible?
I think it was talked about on here before and several said it could be done,
yet I don't remember anyone posting any link to a youtube of it being done.
If there is a video, I'd like to see it again. I'm pretty sure I can't do it.

This video was posted the last time the subject came up:

That prompted me to try the shot. I got the cue ball to stop about ten inches from the cushion on my best try. Here's the thread:

The descriptions of attempts are towards the end of the thread.
